I had just gotten out of theatre class and all the band people like Cody Hull and Erin Sutton (holy moly, was that his last name? I can't even remember for sure anymore...) told us what was happening. We went back into Mr. Simmons's room and watched it on the news. I mostly remember Erin's bright blue hair and his paled, worried expression, which was so not like him because he was usually so chill about everything.

i was in mr. brovsky's class... 5th period i believe when the principal got on the PA and told us what was happening...

I can't believe it's been ten years. It still feels like yesterday, like there's still a grizzly wound. I hope the families were doing okay.
